Pre-enrolment tool now available on parent and carer hub: disability
The new online hub for parents and carers now has a pre-enrolment tool to help families know when their child can start school and access information on enrolment.
Parents and carers will get a personalised timeline when they enter their child’s date of birth. The timeline can be saved to email and SMS reminders can be set-up.
There is also a new video on when to start the conversation and what parents and carers can do.
The inclusive learning support hub has information about the supports available for students with additional learning and support needs or disability.
The one-stop online resource will ensure parents and carers are able to easily find up-to-date information about how to access support.
Families can also use the hub to access printable sheets on key topics if they have questions about their child’s education.
The live resource will continue to be tested and improved to ensure it meets families’ needs.
We encourage schools to direct parents and carers to the hub if they think it could be helpful for them.
Creating a one-stop online resource with information for families and carers was a key commitment under the Disability Strategy
We welcome feedback from both parents and carers and school staff on the hub.
Please email the Disability Strategy team to provide feedback.
