It's a rap
Staff and students at Banks Road Public School want everyone to be safe road users at their school. After Stacey Struthers attended a K-6 Road safety education workshop she worked with other staff members and decided creating a video was a great way for students to use their voice to encourage others to safely cross the road. Putting it to a rap made it fun and an engaging way to get students to think about the safety messages.
It has been shared across the whole school as part of teaching and learning and on the school Facebook page. βThe community loved the video and we have started to notice an improvement with how the students and community using these crossings around the school.
