After the assessment process detailed in the application information, the following projects were selected for funding in round 2:

Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Skills (TIES) and Priority Project grant outcomes
In 2022 the Department created two new grant streams to support the Minister’s aims in technology, innovation and entrepreneurship skills and other identified priorities with NSW universities.

Expanding the Wanago program, which provides students from public, independent, and Catholic schools with the opportunity to attend STEM classes at UTS and in community settings, with a focus on equal gender representation in classes. | |||

Expanding the engagement of female and CALD groups across the entrepreneurship landscape through initiatives including: the Academy U Schools engagement program; targeted streams of the Venture Makers entrepreneurship training program; targeted streams with Launch Pad accelerator programs; and a minimum of five research commercialisation investments from WSU’s Western Ventures program allocated to female/CALD led projects. |
