Learning from home resources

Guidance and materials for parents and carers who have children learning from home can be found at the department’s Learning remotely. Although these resources were developed for learning from home during the COVID-19 pandemic, the information and resources found on these pages are useful to consider when your child is absent from school due to sickness, suspension or other reasons.

Work provided by the school

Your child’s teacher should provide work for them to complete while suspended from school for longer time periods. You can also look at the learning resources found in the parents and carers section of the Learning from home webpages. Keep the communication open between your child’s school and yourself.
