The Educational Pathways Program has proudly appointed three dynamic leaders as its new Principal Champions. These exceptional individuals tirelessly work towards a brighter and more equitable future for students across the state while acting as ambassadors for the program and strong advocates for vocational education and training pathways.

Meet the three Principal Champions:

Timothy Lloyd – Plumpton High School

A resolute program ambassador, Tim strongly supports VET pathways and all EPP initiatives. He's eager to expand participation, aligning with school success targets, Student Pathways Strategy, and the NSW Plan for Public Education. Notably, he showed exceptional support by supporting the Industry Pathways Project at Plumpton High School last term.

Michelle Brook – Warilla High School

A devoted VET advocate, Michelle actively promotes school-delivered VET and engages in Illawarra region meetings and strategic planning. She represents fellow principals and ensures transparent Career Immersion Team meeting communication. Recognising her team's value, she supports key appointments and maintains a student-centric approach while providing unwavering EPP support as the Base School Principal for Illawarra South.

Scott Dinham – Grafton High School

An unwavering EPP advocate, Scott has supported the program from its 24-school pilot to the current 148. He prioritises student engagement and champions remarkable outcomes. Beyond his school, he generously dedicates personal time to discuss and promote the EPPs local advantages, offering resources and hiring an SLSO to streamline administration and improve student access to initiatives.

During the recent EPP conference in Ballina, Scott shared his perspective on the program's significance for his students.

“The EPP is all about offering opportunities to our young people," Scott said. "The program instills purpose, meaning, confidence, and direction in our students."

As the EPP continues to lead the way in reshaping future opportunities for students, the addition of Timothy Lloyd, Michelle Brook and Scott Dinham as Principal Champions reaffirms the program’s commitment to developing these critical pathways for students.

Together with current Principal Champions Richard Finter and Kirstine Gonano, they are set to ensure that every student has the chance to thrive through vocational education opportunities provided by the EPP.
