The HPGE Professional Learning and Resource Hub supports school leaders and teachers to implement the HPGE policy in their unique contexts.
School leaders and teachers should familiarise themselves with the High Potential and Gifted Education Policy, engage with professional learning and plan for its implementation.
Resources are available to support school leaders and teachers to design learning experiences that foster talent development across 4 domains, in line with the 5 key actions framework.
Professional learning framework
The HPGE professional learning framework comprises of tiered levels of increasing depth.
Courses are progressively released, with Tier 1 and some Tier 2 courses currently available.
Tier 1 – familiarisation and planning
Tier 1 assists schools in understanding and planning to implement the High Potential and Gifted Education Policy through a range of differentiated and flexible options.
Tier 2 – policy into practice
Tier 2 assists schools in implementing core High Potential and Gifted Education Policy points.
