2024 Our voices

Artworks submitted for consideration for inclusion in the 2024 Calendar for cultural diversity were representative of the theme Our voices.

Schools were also invited to submit artworks on the relevant lunar new year, and its Australian zodiac equivalent. 2024 is the Lunar Year of the Dragon / Dragon Lizard.

2023 Creating Connections

Artworks submitted for consideration for inclusion in the 2023 Calendar for cultural diversity were representative of the theme Creating Connections.

Schools were also invited to submit artworks on the relevant lunar new year, and its Australian zodiac equivalent. 2023 is the Lunar Year of the Rabbit/Platypus.

History of the calendar for cultural diversity

Since 1999 the calendar for cultural diversity has promoted intercultural understanding, cultural and linguistic diversity, community harmony and social inclusion across NSW public schools and their communities.

The artworks selected for inclusion in each calendar represents the creative talents of public school students from across the state.
