The Library Hub is the major resource hub of the school, containing a wide variety of learning facilities available for individual, group or class use. There is potential for out of hours community use of this space. This facility is a focal point for educational activities and should cater for the full range of learning modes and activities.

- Single entry/exit point to main library space to ensure security of students and assets (eg. books)
- Librarian loan/returns desk located near the main entry point with clear sight lines for efficient supervision of main library area, entry/exit and bag storage.
- Office area to have direct access to staff toilets.
- Bag storage to be located at the entry to the main library space, without compromising circulation.
- Opportunity to create outdoor learning area adjacent to the library.
- System admin area (with service desk for IT queries) to have direct access from the main library space.

Rooms included in this hub
The Library Main Entry is the student entry to the library accommodating bag storage and electronic gates for security.
The School Library Main Area is an adaptable multipurpose resource centre with access to hard copy resources, information technologies and large display areas. The area provides desks and chairs for a large group and areas for research and study.
The Printing/Photocopying Area is an alcove to the Library main Area accommodating printing/copying equipment and a bench cupboard for copying consumables.
Multipurpose Space is an adaptable area for gatherings of students, staff, parents and community.
The Library Administration area is a support space for library staff accommodating sufficient workstations for all library staff, tables, benches for administrative tasks and mobile steel shelving for resource storage.
The Computer Learning Space is a supplementary learning space accommodating sufficient tables and chairs for a class group, groups and/or individuals.
The Computer Store Room is dedicated to the storage of technical equipment used within the Computer Learning Space.
The Senior Study accommodates individuals seated at individual study carrels.
The Career Adviser’s Office accommodates a workstation for the Career Adviser, chairs for a small group and resource storage facilities.
The System Administrator’s Office accommodates a workstation for the System Administrator and bench space for service tasks.
The Main Communications Room is a specifically dedicated to contain the school’s primary telecommunications server and data storage equipment. This space is primarily used by ITD and school staff responsible for the maintenance of the schools network system and accomodates the schools campus distributor cabinets.
Staff Toilets are designated for the amenity of staff.
The Access Shower/Toilet is designated for the amenity of staff and/or controlled access for students.
