The Hall, Canteen and OSHC Hub is an adaptable, multipurpose space catering for very large groups of students, teachers, parents and community. The OSHC hub supports the provision of out of hours care services and includes a store and a kitchennette.

Hall, Canteen + OSHC
- The Hall, Canteen and Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) facilities are consolidated within a single hub, due to their favourable intersection of uses.
- The size of the main hall area allows for functional use as a mini basketball court, at 10m x 6m plus 2m run-off on all sides.
- Covered Outdoor Space (also referred to as COLA) is a desirable addition to the hub, and with the addition of large sectional overhead doors, it provides:
- the opportunity to ‘spill out’ during whole of school assemblies and other large events that are held in the hall;
- weather protected outdoor play area that may be utilised by the OSHC; and
- covered area the canteen servery.
- The OSHC should have secure access outside of school hours from the school’s main entry and/or car park.
- The canteen kitchenette provides servery windows than open into the main hall area, as well as out into the Covered Outdoor Space. A suitable route for deliveries to the canteen should be considered.
- Bulk, Garden & Cleaning stores have been integrated into the hub. These store areas require access from the perimeter of the hall and suitable access routes provided to ensure heavy and bulky items can be easily maneuvered in and out.

The Communal Hall is an adaptable, multipurpose space catering for very large groups of students, teachers, parents and community.
The stage is a raised platform adjacent to a multipurposes space within the Hall, Canteen and OSHC Hub.
The Chair Store Room is for the storage of stackable chairs for use in the Communal Hall. This space should have level access for staff and students under supervision.
The PE Store Room is dedicated storage for PE equipment.
The Sports Store Room is dedicated storage space for outdoor sports equipment.
The Performance Store Room is dedicated storage space for performance related resources and equipment such as sets, backdrops and costumes.
The Sound Cupboard is a room designed to house audio/visual equipment.
Toilets are designated for the amenity of students and include facilities for both boys and girls.
This Accessible Shower/Toilet is designated for the amenity of staff and/or controlled access for students.
The OSHC office supports the provision of out of hours care services.
The OSHC store supports the provision of out of hours care services.
The OSHC Kitchennette supports the provision of out of hours care services.
The Canteen Office/Store Room supports food services for students and staff.
The Canteen is designated for the preparation and serving of largely pre-prepared/ packaged simple food items.
The Servery Covered Area is a covered outdoor space in front of the Canteen servery doors.
The Staff Access Shower/Toilet is designated for the amenity of staff and/or controlled access for students.
The Garden Store Room is for the storage of garden and maintenance equipment.
The Bulk Store Room is for the storage of bulk goods. A small work desk and basin is provided for the General Assistant. Bulk, Garden & Cleaning stores have been integrated into the Hall, Canteen & OSHC Hub. These store areas require access from the perimeter of the hall and suitable access routes provided to ensure heavy and bulky items can be easily maneuvered in and out.
The Cleaning Supplies Store Room is for the bulk storage of cleaning supplies and equipment. A bucket sink is provided. Bulk, Garden & Cleaning stores have been integrated into the Hall, Canteen & OSHC Hub. These store areas require access from the perimeter of the hall and suitable access routes provided to ensure heavy and bulky items can be easily maneuvered in and out.
Enclosed circulation space for staff and students that functions as a multi-occupant corridor.
