PS204 Library Hub - (Small)
The Library Hub is the major resource hub of the school, containing a wide variety of learning facilities available for individual, group or class use. There is potential for out of hours community use of this space. This facility is a focal point for educational activities and should cater for the full range of learning modes and activities.

Library Hall
- Single entry/exit point to main library space to ensure security of students and assets (eg. books) .
- Librarian loan/returns desk located near the main entry point with clear sight lines for efficient supervision of main library area.
- Office area to have direct access to staff toilets.
- Bag storage to be located at the entry to the main library space, without compromising circulation.
- Integration of Special Programs Unit with Library.
- Opportunity for shared use of Special Programs rooms with the community by providing access that is external to the main library area.
- Flexible use of Special Programs rooms provided - ability to open up adjoining rooms to create a larger space.
- Opportunity to create outdoor learning area adjacent to the library.

Rooms included in this hub
The Library Main Area - Small is an adaptable multipurpose resource centre with access to hard copy resources, information technologies and large display areas. The area provides desks and chairs for a large number of students and areas for individual and small group research and study.
The Shared Office/Workroom accommodates staff workstation(s), refreshment facilities, a layout table and resource storage facilities.
The KLA Resource Store Room contains supplementary group resources and equipment used in Key Learning areas. These stores are predominantly accessed by staff and should have limited access to students.
Toilets are designated for the amenity of staff.
The Special Programs Room is a multipurpose learning space equipped with desks and chairs for individuals to medium sized groups. A sink is provided.
The Special Programs Storage contains resources and equipment required for the Special Programs Rooms.
The Store Room is dedicated to the secure storage of Administration files and security equipment. It accommodates shelving systems.
The toilets are designated for the amenity of students and include facilities for both boys and girls.
Circulation space for staff and students that functions as a multi-occupant corridor.
