The following guidelines apply:

• Priority Use: Electoral events take precedence over other uses of school facilities when not required for school activities.
• Community Use Agreements: Principals have the authority to suspend or cancel existing community use agreements to accommodate electoral events.
• Coordination with Electoral Commissions: Electoral commission officers will contact schools directly to confirm arrangements for the use of premises during elections.
• Terms and Conditions: Standard terms and conditions, including applicable hire rates, apply to the use of school facilities for electoral purposes.
