2024 Game Changer Challenge

Congratulations to the Game Changer Challenge 2024 teams who worked to solve the wicked problem to 'Make life better for all without harming the planet'.

This year the Game Changer Challenge received a record number of more than 400 video submissions.

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the challenge. The judging panel of industry experts were very impressed with the enthusiasm and deep understanding shown by the students of the wicked problem. The judges were also inspired by the passion, creativity and commitment to solving this year’s problem.

A total of 120 teams participated in 1 of 5 virtual semifinals held in Term 3. Teams worked to define their problem and ideate to identify a solution before pitching their idea to a panel of industry partners.

The 20 grand final teams took part in the live grand final event held in Parramatta from 5-7 November 2024.

Game Changer Challenge is really important, not only for the kinds of ideas they'll generate, but how they come together as a team.

They tell us that they really love working together on something that is almost impossible and bringing it to life.
