About the Graduate Teacher Scholarship
Final-year teacher education students studying to become teachers of high-demand subject areas, can apply for the Graduate Teacher Scholarship and receive a one-off training allowance of $5,000, a $10,000 appointment allowance and a permanent teaching position in a NSW public school upon successful completion of studies.
Up to 40 Graduate Teacher Scholarships are available to high-achieving future teachers of mathematics, science (with physics), agriculture or special/inclusive education (K - 12), including 20 scholarships available exclusively for selected Technological and Applied Studies (TAS) subjects.
