About NAIDOC Week

NAIDOC Week is a time to reflect and celebrate the history, culture and achievements of First Nations Peoples – recognising them as the Traditional Owners of the land.

The official NAIDOC Week (7 to 14 July) is also being marked by events in the Department and in communities around Australia. The websites and social media of local governments and land councils are good places to find information on events and celebrations.
