Workshop abstract

The 2022 Mathematics syllabus K-10 highlights specific mathematical tools and representations. This workshop dives into the use of number lines, bar models, arrays, linear models for fractions, area model for multiplication, table of values and ratio tables.

Learning objectives

Students will:

  • model and represent unit fractions
  • identify multiplicative relationships using bar models.
