Mapping a place

Students investigate ways of mapping a place using symbols.

Students will:

  • discuss how artists represent their environment in paintings and public sculptures
  • document their ideas in research drawings
  • develop concepts into sculptures
  • consider how concepts are represented differently in drawing and sculpture.
