This resource has been developed as a model to assist teachers in NSW Department of Education schools to select texts that align with the Text requirements for English 7–10.

Teachers can use this resource to explore text options, understand the rationale behind text selection and consider how the texts selected for study challenge and support all learners and meet syllabus requirements.

This material connects to the English 7–10 microlearning (staff only) Module 2: Quality text selection. This has been provided to support the selection of texts across English 7–10.
