Pathways resources
About
Progressing the Plan for NSW Public Education’s focus area of providing meaningful post-school pathways for all students. The Pathways team are responsible for the development of universal support and pathways guided support. These school improvement resources will support schools in their strategic planning, uplifting their pathways practice to achieve their self-determined pathways improvement measures.
There are three focus areas aligned with the key actions in Our Plan for NSW Public Education, ensuring that every student finishes school ready to succeed in their chosen pathway as an informed, responsible citizen:
Embedding pathways diversity
Providing high quality career education
Strengthening school-industry engagement
How and when to use
Pathways resources can be accessed by department staff from the Universal Resources Hub. Resources should be used by schools with secondary students to assist in setting and achieving their school’s strategic planning objectives for providing meaningful pathways.
