Best Start Kindergarten Professional Learning
Purpose
The Best Start Kindergarten Professional Learning is a two and a half hour online course that is comprised of three modules.
The three modules are designed for all kindergarten teachers to develop an understanding of how to administer, access, analyse and action students results from the Best Start Kindergarten Assessment. Teachers will build their understanding and confidence in administering the assessment online by practising using the online tool whilst navigating through the professional learning.

Completing this course will support teachers to:
- successfully administer the assessment
- access and analyse feedback for all students that are assessed
- use assessment information to plan evidence based quality teaching and learning programs to meet the needs of all students, aligned to the NSW English and Mathematics K-2 syllabus and the National Literacy and Numeracy Learning Progressions.
